Not only has e.t.c become a Member Benefits Partner, we were invited to join WeCOACH at their Regional Workshop in Boston on December 1 and lead back-to-back workshop sessions focusing on 'The Why, Who and How of Professional Networking'.
Over 150 leaders, adminstrators, coaches from across New England representing Division I, II and III sports descended on Boston College for a day of new learning and different ways of thinking with high profile and respected speakers, including NCAA President Charlie Baker.
I was thrilled to lead a session with Julie Muller, a long time frend and colleague, who has a respected pedigree in the intercollegiate space having worked across various roles including coaching, athletic adminstration and as a conference commissioner. She is also a new consultant with e.t.c coaching consultants!!!
Our session focused on the value of networking and enabled attendees to explore answers to the following questions:
Where am I in my professional journey?
Why do I need my network now?
Who is or should be in my network?
How can I evolve my network for success?
In our dynamic, engaging and thought-provoking way we were able to gently challenge all women to think differently about the value of their own networks and the fact that not one of us achieves anything alone!
Why WeCOACH?
WeCOACH is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit membership organization dedicated to recruiting, advancing, and retaining women coaches in all sports and levels through year-round professional growth and leadership development programs. Their core values focus on leadership, community and inclusion and empowerment. Their values resonate well with our 'why' which is to:
Create a community. We focus on building high quality relationships with our clients and their stakeholders. We believe in long-term development rather than quick fix to drive informed change at strategic and operational levels.
Customize the experience. We work collaboratively with clients to create tailored systems, programs and needs-led learning and development solutions.
Challenge people to be the very best version of themselves. We believe that every organization, team and person can become even better. We use goal setting, guided discovery and problem-solving to facilitate growth and development.
With a strongly aligned values set and under the support and guidance of Vanessa Fuchs (CEO) and Maria Lopez (Director of Member Experience, Engagement and Inclusion) we were thrilled to become a Member Benefits Partner.
